Garment Care Instructions

At Bondi Pearl, each piece is thoughtfully designed and made with care, and we want it to last beautifully in your wardrobe. To preserve the quality, comfort, and longevity of your garments, please follow the care instructions below.

General Care Guidelines

  • Always check the label: Each garment comes with a specific care tag — be sure to follow it before washing or ironing.
  • Wash similar colours together: This prevents unwanted colour transfer and keeps your pieces looking fresh.
  • Turn inside out: Protect printed or embellished areas by turning garments inside out before washing.
  • Avoid overwashing: Air out lightly worn items instead of washing after every use to preserve fabric integrity.

Washing Instructions

  • Hand wash or gentle machine wash recommended for most items.
  • Use cold or lukewarm water (max 30°C) to prevent shrinking and fading.
  • Mild detergent only: Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals.
  • Do not wring: Gently squeeze out excess water without twisting the fabric.

Drying Guidelines

  • Air dry is best: Lay flat or hang in the shade to prevent shrinkage and maintain shape.
  • Avoid tumble dryers: High heat can weaken fabrics and distort shape.
  • Do not dry in direct sunlight for long periods — it may cause colours to fade.

Ironing & Steaming

  • Low heat only: If ironing is needed, use the lowest heat setting appropriate for the fabric.
  • Steam carefully: Use a garment steamer or steam iron from the reverse side, especially on delicate fabrics.
  • Avoid ironing embellishments or prints directly.

Special Care for Outerwear

  • Spot clean whenever possible.
  • For structured or padded coats and jackets, professional dry cleaning is recommended.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, preferably on a hanger to maintain shape.

Sustainable Packaging Note

To reduce environmental impact, our garments are packaged with minimal, eco-conscious materials. As a result, some creasing may occur during transit. A light steam or iron will easily restore their natural form.
